Hello everyone and here it is Friday with the big withdrawal candidate issue on Saturday and also the race with Big Brown. How is the real estate world in your part of the world? Hi everyone, well, it is soon going to be apple picking time, harvesting time and of course school is back in session as well. With all the hipe of the real estate world I hope you are turning off your tv and reading more books. In every part of the country there are down times and the real estate industry is taking its turn. We are still selling, people are still buying for all the reasons we have always bought and sold. Yes we are working harder but hard work never hurt anyone, so let's get on with life and enjoy while we can. The sun is out, the sky is blue and we have much to look forward to. Come and enjoy the water this summer! The art festival is past, but the off shore boat races are coming the end of July. Of course the fireworks the 4th will be spectacular as always. Spring Time Easter Time

The snow is nice in November and December but I am ready for the Art Fair, Music in the Gazebo, Walks on the Boardwalk and concerts in the park and the Boat Races! What a wonderful day we are having in this waterwonderland of St. Clair County! The sun is bright and the temp is up and the water is blue! You really must visit our corner of the world this summer. We have the art fairs, the antique show, the boat shows, races, music in the gazebo and so much more. Did you know that Friday March 30 is Puppy Day? And don't forget the fun of April Fool's Day, when pranks are at their best! And of course Easter is just around the corner. Looking for some real estate to call home or a get away? The Green Month!

This month has really flown by and with the time change it's wonderful having the sun shinning later in the day! It's getting up that is the problem but we can manage spring and summer on the way! The water is blue today and soon the shipping will start and the parade of boats will be going by. What a sight, if you haven't seen the ocean and Great Lake's ships then you must plan a trip our way to see this spectacular sight. Many motels and hotels for accommodations and also small houses to buy for that summer get-away or retreat! Remember flying kites or playing jacks? Well, March 27 is "kite flying day". So get to that dollar store, buy a kite and sale it high in the sky:) Also coming up is "National Puppy Day". It's March, It's Almost Spring

Hi everyone, well spring is almost here, time change is early and it is still light at 6:30 at night! Hooray! I am preparing for spring and summer activities and can't wait for the snow to be gone and sunshine prevail! What is happening in your corner of the world? Here, the water is clearer today, not a lot of ice floating down but last week, it was really active. Coast guard boats from both US and Canada were out cutting through the ice for the freighter that needs to get through. The Harsens Island ferry was shut down also, so all the residents were either stranded on the mainland or on the island! Talks are still going on in regards to the new Blue Water Bridge Plaza in Port Huron. My son's dog Rocky is still staying with me, he is a German Shepherd lab mix and just a big baby. Aren't big dogs so lovable? I really enjoy him, as my dog cotton, a mix of Bishon, Poodle and Maltese is still fiesty after 15 1/2 years. Do you have a pet, tell me about it and where you are from. The second month already in 2007. Can you believe it? I am watching for the spring flowers to pop up, well I guess not for a while, they would need to peek through the snow. Snow and winter activities are upon us. The snow fest of Port Huron was last week end and the week before in Sarnia. You know only the Blue Water Bridge separates us from our Canadian friends. As you travel south you can also cross at Marine City at the Ferry Dock. That's exciting as well, a short trip, customs as well when traveling by Ferry but most of us carry two ID's anyway for proof of who we are. January is almost over already!

When I was a kid the winter months seemed to just drag along! Now, January is almost gone and there are so many activities going on and to attend, that must be why. Friday I attended the International Symphony in Sarnia at the Imperial Theater. Wow, it was fantastic! It was wintry at first but then when the concert was over, the stars were out and no trouble driving home. The Silver Stick was again a successful week end for the kids and their families who came to town. Did you know that January 23rd is PIE DAY and January 26 is PEANUT BRITTLE DAY? Auto Show and Silver Stick Hockey

Well it is Silver Stick Hockey time again in the blue water area. Both Sarnia and Port Huron have games going on. Last week end as well as this coming week end. The kids love it and can't wait until the season comes around. For many years the McMorran arena and the arenas in Sarnia have been filled with the sounds and smells of hockey, popcorn, cheering moms, dads, and other relatives and friends. All ages are welcome. Also the International Auto Show is now on in Detroit. Soon we will have the ice sculpturing in Sarnia and Port Huron. So make this your winter stop!

Here it is Saturday and we hold open houses on property in this area that we have listed for sale. I just received a letter in the mail in which one of our local banks is telling me that Mortgage Insurance is now TAX DEDUCTIBLE! Is that good news or what? Contact your financial advisor or tax preparer but it certainly is something to think about this time of year! Hello everyone we have now begun our new year! Here in St. Clair County today it is like a spring day, no snow, now frost, we could hear the birds sing soon and the flowers begin to bloom! While we all talk of the weather, I can also note that the mortgage rates are good right now and we have some wonderful properties for sale. School started yesterday for the children and so we must drive with care. This is the famous tax time that we all are so intense about but it is a fact of life and so if we just take care of it and submit and get on with life we will be ok. The 15th of April always seems to come upon us quickly. Well, I am off for coffee and breakfast at a great little restaurant in Marine City! Nancy Notes
